letters decorated with flowers

Since the cardboard letters to decorate have arrived at our store, we have not stopped discovering new ideas on how to decorate them in an original and charming way. A clear example of originality are these initials decorated with fresh flowers, an idea from Parcel Post , a blog that we love. They are ideal on your Sweet Tables at weddings or elegant parties.

We will need:

High-density cardboard letters to decorate like the ones you can find at La Fiesta de Olivia

Well-sharpened cutter or precision blade

Foam used for floral arrangements

Glue, thumbtacks or hot silicone gun.

Flowers of various colors and sizes

How to do them:

1. Very carefully... cut the letter crosswise and remove the front face. (This is the hardest part)

2. Then cut pieces of Foam and fill the inside of the letter with them. Try not to leave free spaces.

3. Attach them to the bottom of the letter with glue to ensure they don't fall off.

4. Cut the stems of the flowers and see inserting them into the Foam, you can secure them with the silicone gun or with pins if necessary.

5. Create a composition with the different flowers you have and fill your flower with color and texture!

If you want the flowers to stay alive longer, you can add a little water to the foam to make it moist. Be careful not to add too much water because the letter, being made of cardboard, can become deformed.
