DIY How to make snowflakes with children

Halloween is over and my favorite time of the year is coming... Christmas. I am always looking for fun and easy activities to do with my daughters to decorate our house for Christmas. I loved this DIY... I leave you the step by step with the explanation of how to make beautiful paper snowflakes, a very easy and original craft, with great results that even the smallest of the house can do. It is also an ideal idea to decorate a party in the style of the movie "Frozen".

Some original ideas to decorate with snowflakes this Christmas:

With these snowflakes you can make garlands joining each other, stick them on windows, use them as doilies to decorate your plates or Christmas gifts and also as under plates on the Christmas table (I advise you to measure the plate that you are going to use before and increase the size of the original paper by at least 10 cm). You can leave them the color of the paper used, paint them in colors or glue them with glitter for a snow effect.

You only need a square white paper and some scissors.

I leave the step by step:

1. Fold the square of paper in half to form a triangle.

2. Now fold that triangle in half again to make a smaller triangle.

3. Fold it again but now only up to the third part as indicated in the figure.

4. Finally, fold on the opposite side as shown in the figure.

5. Cut the excess ends leaving a triangle.

6. Now cut out your triangle with the shapes you want.

7. Open the paper and be surprised by your creation.
